Limited 180-gram clear vinyl with bonus tracks. The great (though half-forgotten) Marty Robbins was country music's renaissance man. Robbins was adept at singing edged rock & roll. while his voice could also take on a confessional and dramatic tone which he used to perform traditional country. or western songs. He had a way of extending the latter genre's melodic beauty and lyricism without ever seeming repetitive.
This album was groundbreaking. a concept album in a genre that never had many of those. and a blending of all of Texas' music into one unified sound.
